The Workstation Gallery, Sheffield 2001
Bedsit Technicians Present... comprised of two works. The first was a 'painstakingly monotonous' biro drawing by David Smith covering an entire wall of the gallery. The calculated size was 324 square feet and featured the design of flock wallpaper repeated and covering the entire surface.
The second was a collection of found TV sets presented randomly on a shelving unit featuring multi image time lapse sequences of video and audio gleaned from 'anonymous wanderings across diverse geographical locations' and 'hybrid surveillance footage'.
